The Church gets it wrong sometimes

this isn’t a rant about homosexuality and religion (although that’s another thought for another day). this is an avenue for me to talk about the RH bill.

it pisses me off when priests say to get out of Mass if you’re pro-RH bill.

It also pisses me off when they take shots at women like Risa Hontiveros saying things along the lines of “it’s too bad that she’s pretty but her stand is so ugly.” Patronizing chauvinistic crap.

I’m a woman. I want my choices. It doesn’t mean I favor abortion. It means I favor options if God forbid, I get raped. That I can choose to plan my life wisely and responsibly so I don’t have more children than I can support. That I can be educated about my body.

That’s what being pro-RH bill is about. For me.
